Each sheet of Crimp Wire Foundation is 100% beeswax with 9 vertical steel wires to strengthen it. The hooks are designed to fit behind the removable wooden cleat on the wedge top bar frames. To further strengthen them you can either use support pins or horizontal cross wires.
100% beeswax foundation becomes very brittle in cold temperatures and cannot be shiped safely. If you order your foundation in cold months, it will be shipped at your own risk. We will not be responsible for cracked or broken foundation.
